Olivia is an experienced speaker and promotes Ireland globally as a luxury event destination. Showcasing Ireland, its unique heritage, culture, unmatched beauty and pool of amazing talent. Ireland’s national tourism board Fáilte Ireland recognised Olivia’s contributions to the event industry in Ireland and rewarded her the prestigious honour of enlisting her as their recognised Destination Event Planner.

SENIOR EVENTS DIRECTOR

Rachael Greene is the agency’s Senior Events Director, a positive and passionate perfectionist. With over ten years of experience in the Events & Marketing industry, Rachael delivers complex brand projects and meaningful celebrations. Leading the production of our events, from budget management to design assistance, supplier selection and live management, Rachael constantly thinks outside the box and delivers our client’s vision with style. 

Rachael acquired a BSc in Business, Major in Marketing in 2013, Prince2 Project Management Certification in 2014 and became a Certified Associate in Project Management in 2016. After graduating with a post-graduate degree in Event Management in 2016, Rachael specialised in Corporate and Brand Experiences before expanding her portfolio into the luxury market. With a keen eye for design and contacts across Europe’s creative market, Rachael continuously breaks boundaries, creating truly unique experiences for clients. Rachael’s brilliance as a logistical event manager and vivid dreamer lend to her recognition as one of Ireland’s top event management specialists.

The beauty of working in event management means that no two days are the same. A typical day for our Senior Events Director could begin on-site at one of the most beautiful locations in Ireland and could conclude with a design consultation with clients on the other side of the world. The variability of her day-to-day is one of the intriguing aspects of her role, yet she always savours one consistent moment throughout the concept to creation process. When candles are alight, the band are playing, and guests are about to see the event space for the first time, Rachael takes a moment to look around take in the experience; and feel proud of what we have created as a team.

Rachael leads a team of driven event executives, encouraging and supporting them to reach their full potential: planning and delivering exceptional experiences for our clients.

LAURAGH QUINN

Lauragh Quinn proudly guides and supports our distinguished clientele as Client Liaison Manager. Naturally kind, compassionate and considerate, Lauragh captures our client’s wishes and efficiently communicates them to our wider team. Lauragh manages multiple timelines, client services and on-the-day logistics in flawless fashion. 

Lauragh graduated with First Class Honours in Business Studies and Marketing in 2005 and has relished the challenge of working in the world of events ever since. Before settling in her native county Galway, Lauragh travelled the world, wandering from continent to continent. Her introduction to the world’s culture, history and heritage support her in connecting with our international clients, translating their personal journeys, family history and company culture into each bespoke event. Lauragh thrives in the fast-paced nature of the events industry – a typical day involves her joining calls across multiple time zones and working with our wonderful clients to ensure they are involved in each step of their own momentous celebrations.

On the day of events, Lauragh is on the ground managing guest logistics and ensuring the event flow remains on schedule. She leads a team of Guest Relation Assistants, who support our clients and their guests throughout the entire event. Lauragh directly manages transportation, ensuring all guests arrive to the event at the scheduled time. 

Lauragh aspires for new challenges and is ready to take on the world through one of the most exhilarating industries in the world. She feels blessed to work alongside some of the most wonderful people every day and build relationships with remarkable clients.

Fiona Vaughan

EVENT EXECUTIVE

Fiona joined our wonderful world of creativity as Event Executive. While our Senior Events Director and our Design Team dream up big visions, Fiona’s attention to detail and impressive ability to manage multiple projects ensures our clients’ event timelines are delivered on schedule. Fiona conducts high-level research and curates creative vendors for client consideration. Seeking inspiration in architecture, fashion and gastronomy, Fiona assists our Production and Design team in creating original and ground-breaking concepts. Fiona is consistently on the pulse of the best and upcoming creative vendors that can fulfil our client’s vision and create the most memorable experience. 

Fiona completed a BSc in Music, Media and Production Technology which first sparked her of creating special moments. Following ber BSc, Fiona completed a MSc in Marketing, Consumption and Society and continues her learning today through online courses and reading books. Fiona’s fascination for events led her to diverge from her path of Digital Marketing and into a world of possibility, creativity and endless fun. From the initial concept stage to lighting the candles at an event, Fiona is present; creating a positive experience for others. The ability to create moments of magic for people is one of the most rewarding aspects of her role as Event Executive.

Sian Cahill

Brand Executive

Sian Cahill works behind-the-scenes as our Brand Executive. Sian’s flair for storytelling and connection introduces our agency to clients, collaborators and creatives all across the world. Proud of the relationships that she has maintained with creators and curators internationally, Sian assists our clients in securing prestigious publications. Notably, she has supported our clients in securing publications in VOGUE and BRIDES. 

After graduating from Munster Technological University in 2019 with the highest honours in Creative Writing for Digital Media, she stepped into the world of hospitality. Her passion for the hospitality industry, seamless skill for digital marketing and love of luxury catapulted her to the forefront of the race to join Ireland’s most prestigious events agency. Sian shares the Olivia Buckley International story with the world, capturing the time, dedication, teamwork and passion involved in creating every bespoke event. 

Passionate about her country and the many creatives who share Ireland’s shores, Sian works in collaboration with international representatives and the national tourism board to promote Ireland as a leading luxury event and wedding destination. Sian is constantly reawakened by the fascinating people she meets, the stories she learns and the meaningful relationships she develops. The creativity and passion of those around her continue to inspire and motivate her.

Daniel John Desmond

Daniel John Desmond is our Operations Expert Consultant who specialises in food & beverage service. Daniel began his career in Michelin star restaurants and five-star where he refined his skills, delivering impeccable, warm service. Daniel collaborates with our client’s venue, working closely with their culinary and front of house team to ensure cohesive and spectacular service throughout the event. Daniel’s strategic and creative approach to creating exceptional service has made him one of the most sought-after hospitality consultants in Ireland.

Daniel believes that food is personal and for an event to be successful, you need to garner the trust from guests. From the guests’ first bite to their last sip, Daniel is on hand to nurture our guests trust with, ensuring that every tingle on their taste buds is a reflection of delicate craftmanship. Daniel combines his experience in Ireland’s most exclusive dinner venues and his natural Cork charm to relax and entertain guests. His true talents lie in his ability to seamlessly blend into new teams, inspire passion and expertly coordinate service for complex events.

Cynthia Daly

Cynthia Daly is the company’s Senior Finance Director, an organised and hugely experienced financial expert. Cynthia supports the Olivia Buckley International team and clients by managing event finances and ensuring timely delivery of project finances.

Cynthia has worked with Olivia Buckley International since 2015. A graduate of BSc in Commerce, Cynthia drives the financial planning of the company and oversees all finance activity on behalf of our clients. Cynthia embraces her in-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices to ensure the strict management of our client’s project finances. Cynthia is incredibly discreet and ensures our client’s privacy is protected at all times.

The company’s values of professionalism and discretion complement Cynthia’s own personal ethos. Her devotion to her role and our clients ensure the seamless management of our client’s investment in their celebration. While Cynthia’s skill and passion lies in business management, she loves the creative aspect of the business and supporting our team surpass our clients’ expectations.

Cynthia lives in County Kerry in one of Ireland’s most picturesque towns with her husband and three children. With the great outdoors at her footsteps, Cynthia embraces Ireland’s largest national park by cycling, walking, catching up with friends over a hot brew.

Joanna Murphy

Jo Murphy supports OBI as an Advisor and is our NED. Jo has over 20 years of experience in the corporate world bringing her wealth of commercial experience to OBI across talent, employee engagement and employer brand strategy. 

Her specific focus is people strategy. Jo has worked for some of the top employer brands including Hays, Glassdoor & LinkedIn in London & Europe and we are delighted to have her onboard and has already offered a wealth of experience and expertise.
